Earning professional credentials demonstrates that you have met rigorous standards and fulfilled specific requirements, showcasing your expertise in a specialized area. Obtaining certification is one of the most impactful steps you can take in your career development. It recognizes your dedication to your chosen field and confirms your ability to perform to established standards.
Consider becoming certified with the International Board of Blood Management for the following reasons:
The International Board of Blood Management (IBBM) is committed to promoting education and adherence to rigorous scientific principles to advance the safe and proficient practice of blood management and ECMO. Our objective is to establish recognition for these specializations through examination and certification.
Certification serves as evidence that the candidate has met the qualifications necessary to perform the respective procedures under a physician's prescription, as identified or recognized by peers. Certification is not intended to dictate or define employment conditions.
Recertification is vital to maintaining up-to-date credentials and setting yourself apart in your field. PBMT must be renewed on an annual basis, and PBMS and CES-A™ must be renewed every two years.
