AmSECT’s Journal of ExtraCorporeal Technology (JECT) is the premier source of the most current research and information related to extracorporeal technology including cardiopulmonary bypass, extracorporeal life support, mechanical assist devices, and perioperative blood management. We are an international journal with a subscription base of perfusionists, anesthesiologists, surgeons, and researchers. Our editorial board is comprised of leaders in our field from 7 countries. The Journal is the longest continuously published periodical in the field of Perfusion and has served as the official publication of the American Society of ExtraCorporeal Technology since 1967.
Article Processing Charge (APC) Waiver Eligibility
Through AmSECT's publishing partnership with EDP Sciences, accepted manuscripts submitted by eligible AmSECT members may qualify for an APC waiver.
Effective January 1, 2027, Associate and International AmSECT members must have maintained continuous membership for at least one year prior to manuscript submission to qualify for the APC waiver benefit. Corresponding authors who have joined AmSECT within one year of submission will not be eligible for the APC waiver.
