End-of-life impact on the perfusionist

End-of-life impact on the perfusionist

Thank you for your support! Please complete the survey, if you have not done it. The survey will close tomorrow, May 15, at 11:59pm.

The perfusionist's experience with death is complex and challenging. The passing of a patient can have a significant emotional effect on the team responsible for their care, including sadness, helplessness, guilt, shock, concern for the bereaving family, and can even contribute to burnout. The aim of this survey is to examine the emotional impact of a patient's death from the perspective of the CCP, and to evaluate the coping strategies, targeted support, debriefing sessions, education, and training availability to cardiovascular perfusion teams and education programs. The survey will take about 8-10 minutes, and your support will help shed light on this complex subject.
