Position: Staff Perfusionist
Location: Largo, FL
Comprehensive Care is looking for an experienced staff perfusionist with at least 3-5 years of experience to join our team at Largo Medical Center in Largo, FL. The account consists of 2 Cardiac surgeons that perform adult CABG’s, OPCAB’s, Valve Replacement Surgery, complex Aorta surgery, ECMO, VADS, and heart transplants. This dynamic program has been growing over the past few years and offers an intriguing opportunity for those looking to apply their perfusion skills to a wide range of case types.
Largo, FL is located on the Gulf Coast of Florida, a few miles south of Clearwater, FL. Clearwater is home to one of the most stunning beaches in the entire country. Largo is surrounded by many beautiful communities including Belleair, Indian Rocks Beach, Seminole, and Feather Sound. The cities of St. Petersburg and Tampa are both within a 30-minute drive. Must be willing to work flexible schedules. Demonstrate well-developed interpersonal skills and communication skills necessary to interact in a professional manner with nursing staff, health care team members, patient and families. Must have Bachelor's or Master’s degree and be certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion or eligible to become certified after one year of employment.
