ECMO Program Management*

The goal of this session is to provide an overview of the program management of both low volume and large volume ECMO centers. Included will be an analysis of planning the program design and implementation of a new ECMO service in a community hospital, managing a large volume service in an institutional hospital, quality control and improvement measures, competency review processes for team members, and discussion surrounding what makes an ECMO team excel.  This will be a workshop with ample opportunity for interaction between the faculty and participants.
