Location: Cincinnati, OH
Northern Kentucky University (NKU), a regionally engaged public comprehensive university located in the Cincinnati metropolitan area, is seeking a dynamic, student-centric candidate to serve as The Inaugural Program Director for its MS in Cardiovascular Perfusion Program.
NKU’s Cardiovascular Perfusion Program, housed in the College of Health and Human Services, is located in the university’s new $105 million Health Innovation Center (HIC) that serves as an anchor for transdisciplinary education and interprofessional training. The HIC is home to the NKU Center for Simulation Education and is accredited by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare, featuring eight inpatient simulation rooms, operating rooms, a multi-bed critical care room, and ample debriefing rooms.
The Inaugural Program Director will have a unique opportunity to develop the perfusion program with their overall concepts and vision in mind, and create a premier offering within the guidelines of NKU, CAAHEP and the AC-PE. Furthermore, there are exceptional opportunities for faculty and students alike to work collaboratively alongside other program directors and students in the fields of nurse anesthesia, radiation therapy, radiologic science, respiratory care, occupational therapy, nursing, as well as medical students.
