Hiring full time Perfusionist, new grads are welcome.
Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center has a team of 11 perfusionists that provide services to 5 surgeons. We are looking to expand our team to 14 perfusionists. While most of our cases are performed at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI, we support procedures at our sister hospital Aurora Grafton Medical Center.
Our procedures include CABGs, Valves, Heart Transplants, TAVRs, HIPEC, Angiovac, and ECMO. Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center is one of the clinical sites for the Milwaukee School of Engineering’s Masters in Perfusion Program.

Requirements:

Licenses & Certifications

Perfusionist license issued by the state of Wisconsin, and

Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) certification issued by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP).

Degrees

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Cardiovascular Technology.

Required Functional Experience

Typically requires 3 years of experience in pumping perfusion cases.

AmSECT Membership Eligibility

An Active Member shall be any perfusionist active in the practice of extracorporeal circulation technology. There are also opportunities to become a Transitional Active Member for those less than a year removed from graduation from an approved accredited training program. Other options include; an Associate Membership, International Membership, Perioperative Blood Management Clinician Membership, and Student Membership.
