Position: Perfusionist
Location: Mobile, AL
Description:
We are hiring for a Perfusionist to work in our Perfusion Department at Providence Hospital in Mobile, Alabama.
Applicant would complete our team of three perfusionists. We currently perform 250-300 hearts per year, all adults, at a community based hospital. These include CABGs, valves, and aneurysms. We are also responsible for IABPs and the open-heart lab (HMS, IStat). We offer benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 403b. Call would be split three ways, and normal working hours would be 6:30-3:00. We have a wonderful work-life balance and are located 30 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico.

Requirements:
• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required
• Required Credential(s):
o BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
o Certified Perfusionist credentialed from the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) obtained within 15 Months (1 1/4 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
