Position: Perfusionist

Location:  Sacramento, CA


Join our team in sunny Sacramento, California. We are an established, all-adult program performing 1500 cases per year and occasional ELS at two area hospitals.
Our equally shared call schedule and flexible time off will allow you to enjoy the beauty of Northern California. Sacramento is an island of affordable living within an hour and a half of Lake Tahoe, the Sierra Mountains, San Francisco, the Pacific coast and the Napa Valley.
Our cardiac program is consistently one of the highest volume and best performing in California, offering a full range of adult perfusion procedures including: complex aorta, arch and thoracic aorta repairs, VADs, ELS, TAVR and TEVAR, minimally invasive valves, as well as plenty MCABG and valve cases.

Experience preferred, but we will consider strong new graduates.  ABCP certification required or eligible within 1 year for new graduates.

AmSECT Membership Eligibility

An Active Member shall be any perfusionist active in the practice of extracorporeal circulation technology. There are also opportunities to become a Transitional Active Member for those less than a year removed from graduation from an approved accredited training program. Other options include; an Associate Membership, International Membership, Perioperative Blood Management Clinician Membership, and Student Membership.
