Position: Perfusionist

Location: Albany, GA

Perfusionist needed for a 13 week contract assignment in: Albany, GA. 

•Contract Length: 13 Weeks
•Shift: Days - Guaranteed 40 Hours per week
•Start: ASAP

Ratios/Cases per Day: On average, 320 Heart cases per year. 
Other case responsibilities: Occasional Autotransfusion/Cell Saver procedures. IABP, Possible future VAD responsibilities. 

EMR: Meditech Medical Record system, but hand charting for Perfusion cases. 

Call Requirement – One Perfusionist on call at a time. Call consists of one week, every third week.

An Active Member shall be any perfusionist active in the practice of extracorporeal circulation technology. There are also opportunities to become a Transitional Active Member for those less than a year removed from graduation from an approved accredited training program. Other options include; an Associate Membership, International Membership, Perioperative Blood Management Clinician Membership, and Student Membership.
