Full Time Staff Perfusionist

Position: Full time Staff Perfusionist 

Location: Manchester, NH

Description: 330 bed Catholic Medical Center is looking for a candidate to join a 4 person perfusion team. All adult cardiac surgical procedures plus TAVR, and occasional autotransfusion in the general OR, EP lab, and ICU.  New graduates are encouraged to apply.  Expect one full week of call schedule every month. 

Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Science or Allied Health

Two years experience in the field or cardiac perfusion preferred.
At time of employment, the individual must be certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion as a Certified Clinical Perfusionist, or be eligible to take the CAPE (Clinical Applications in Perfusion Examination) portion of the ABCP board exam. Any candidate hired based on eligibility to take CAPE is expected to pass the examination within 3 tries.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

An Active Member shall be any perfusionist active in the practice of extracorporeal circulation technology. There are also opportunities to become a Transitional Active Member for those less than a year removed from graduation from an approved accredited training program. Other options include; an Associate Membership, International Membership, Perioperative Blood Management Clinician Membership, and Student Membership.
