ECMO Coordinator

Position: ECMO Coordinator

Location: Knoxville, TN


Responsible for planning, implementing, supervising and evaluating day-to-day operations of the mechanical Circulatory support program in the critical care setting with a focus on maintaining the ECMO program in Accordance with accreditation requirements as defined by the ELSO. Works in collaboration with multi-disciplinary team to ensure on-going clinical education and competencies of the ECMO team. Works with the HLVI Data Management team to complete the registry requirements.


BSN or other clinical bachelor's degree

[image]Masters preferred, but will consider clinical experience (may be required to obtain Masters)

Prefer experience as an ECMO or VAD Coordinator

Will consider relevant clinical experience in high volume ECMO center

Appropriate clinical license in Tennessee

There are also opportunities to become a Transitional Active Member for those less than a year removed from graduation from an approved accredited training program. Other options include; an Associate Membership, International Membership, Perioperative Blood Management Clinician Membership, and Student Membership.
