Position: ECLS Specialist

Come join the Comprehensive Care Services, Inc. team! We have an opening for an experienced ECLS/ECMO Specialist with 1+ years’ experience. Must be willing to work flexible schedules. Position performs procedures relative to Extra-Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO)/ Extra-Corporeal Life Support (ECLS) under the direct supervision of the Director and/or Assistant Director of Perfusion Services.
Develops treatment plan involving assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and education. Communicates with the physician and other members of the healthcare team to interpret, adjust and complete treatment specific care for the ECMO patient.
Provides assistance in the assessment of patients, interpretation of physician’s orders and management of complications. Responsible for assistance and support of the management team and customer in achieving quality, patient satisfaction, business management, teamwork, culture, and employee satisfaction.
Requirements:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Completion of designated ECMO Training program. Evidence of commitment to continued education and self- development. Orientation to duties to be accomplished within six months. Demonstrates well-developed interpersonal skills and communication skills necessary to interact in a professional manner with nursing staff, health care team members, patients and their families.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current certification is required for either Certified Cardiovascular Perfusionist (CCP), Registered Nurse (RN), or Register Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
