Position: Director of Perfusion
Location: South Miami, FL
Description: Comprehensive Care Services Inc. is looking for a Director of Perfusion for one of our locations, Kendall Regional Hospital in South Miami, FL. Requirements: The selected candidate will have at least five years plus of experience accompanied by Management experience. The selected candidate will ensure that the Perfusion Department meets quality standards within the resources available. Must ensure that the Perfusion Department responds to Open Heart Surgery, Autotransfusion, Pump Standby and IABP according to protocols and Hospital agreement. Performs procedures relative to the physiological management of patients' circulatory and respiratory functioning during and following cardiac surgery, under the direct supervision of the anesthesiologist and operating surgeon. Must be willing to work flexible schedules. Demonstrate well-developed interpersonal skills and communication skills necessary to interact in a professional manner with nursing staff, healthcare team members, patient, and families. Must have valid BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Must have Bachelor's or Master's degree and be certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion.
