Clinical Perfusionist

Position: Clinical Perfusionist 

Location: VA Hospital in Madison, WI

Description: An excellent opportunity exists to work for a government contractor with competitive compensation and work-life balance. Posterity Group is seeking 1 professional, experienced Clinical Board Certified Cardiac Perfusionist with a Certification in Auto-transfusion. 

Requirements: 

• Completion of an accredited Allied Health Education Program School of Perfusion Technology program.
• Current certification as a Clinical Perfusionist as recognized by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP)
• Must have a minimum of at least three (3) years’ experience as a Clinical Perfusionist
• Experience shall be demonstrated in the following areas: Open heart surgery, auto-transfusion, heart-lung machine, membrane oxygenation, left/right heart bypass, intra-aortic balloon pumping and centrifugal ventricular assist device.

An Active Member shall be any perfusionist active in the practice of extracorporeal circulation technology. There are also opportunities to become a Transitional Active Member for those less than a year removed from graduation from an approved accredited training program. Other options include; an Associate Membership, International Membership, Perioperative Blood Management Clinician Membership, and Student Membership.
