Position: Chief Perfusionist - Pediatrics
Location: St. Louis, MO
Provides leadership of the cardiovascular perfusion and open-heart program services at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Has responsibility for managing the application and development of extracorporeal circulation technology for age-appropriate support in the operating room and throughout the institution. Provides quality patient care for pediatric patients and select adult patients with emphasis on congenital cardiac anomalies and their treatment. Manages pediatric perfusion services at a pediatric ECMO center that ranks at the 90th percentile for pediatric ECMO volume in the country, with average length of time on support of two weeks, while also serving complex pediatric congenital open heart cases with an average start to case end time of 5-6 hours. Supports the largest Mid-West pediatric heart and lung transplantation program.
Bachelor's Degree/Master’s Degree, 2-5 Years Experience, Cert Clinical Perfusionist, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Licensed Perfusionist
