Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital

The new Chief of Perfusion Services at will be a highly skilled and experienced clinical perfusionist with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. He/she will lead the growth of Perfusion Services within the rapidly growing Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at Mount Sinai Morningside, reporting directly to the Chairman of the Department. He/she will be responsible for all aspects of Perfusion Services, including staffing, scheduling, mentoring, education and development/implementation of clinical/research protocols for a broad range of adult cardiac surgery, with emphasis on all-arterial CABG, bloodless cardiac surgery, robotic and minimally invasive procedures, TAVR/MitraClip etc.


New York State licensure
Minimum 5 yrs experience

AmSECT Membership Eligibility

An Active Member shall be any perfusionist active in the practice of extracorporeal circulation technology. There are also opportunities to become a Transitional Active Member for those less than a year removed from graduation from an approved accredited training program. Other options include; an Associate Membership, International Membership, Perioperative Blood Management Clinician Membership, and Student Membership.
