SCOPE & PROGRAMS
The AmSECT Foundation's scope encompasses educational support, scientific research, recognition of significant professional achievement, and support to other nonprofit organizations whose activities are in consonance with the Foundation's purpose.
Scope and Programs
There are currently two programs in the process of being implemented by 2004:
- Professional Recognition. This fund supports the recognition of extraordinary professional accomplishments that ultimately benefit patient care.
- Personal Assistance Fund. This fund is for short-term loans at nominal interest to AmSECT members who are experiencing financial distress that is not the result of personal financial mismanagement or deficiencies in personal behavior.
