Perfusion Without Borders Task Force
Mission Statement
The mission of the Perfusion Without Borders Task Force is to promote cardiac surgery missions by creating opportunities for the exchange of equipment, information and techniques and facilitating volunteer opportunities for perfusionists to give back to the global community.
Job Description - Chairman
- Coordinate the work of the PWOB committee via the mission statement.
- Ensure that all requests for volunteers and equipment are posted to the AmSECT.org PWOB website.
- Promote PWOB via the web by sending periodic information to all AmSECT members.
- Promote PWOB at the National Convention.
- Acquire two speakers for the PWOB section of the AmSECT National Meeting.
- Prepare and present a budget to AmSECT for the committee to include the following:
- Funds for AmSECT National Meeting speakers.
- Scholarship for an AmSECT member student to travel on a mission.
