The Chicagoland Perfusion Foundation (CPF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities, professional connections and assistance for people engaged in perfusion careers. The CPF recognizes the need to foster the education of future generations of perfusionists to help ensure students in the field those opportunities to succeed. Our goal of raising funds for additional humanitarian causes will be guided by the contemporary needs of our community, and the needs of the greater circle of connections to our profession.
The CPF will holding its annual meeting and gala event on Saturday, February 1st, 2020 at Ann & Robert H Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. The CPF meeting has been awarded 11.6 CAT 1 CEU's from the ABCP and welcomes all perfusionists, students, and medical staff to join us. Deeply discounted hotel arrangements for attendees have been made at EMC2 Hotel in downtown Chicago. All meals, parking, and a memorable evening event is included with your registration. Your registration is a tax-deductible donation that will be used to support and promote perfusion education.

Program topics include: CPB disaster simulations & stress management, ROTEM studies, cardioplegia techniques, GDP, ECMO cannulation strategies, and more. In addition, there will be a special “Power Hour” Panel discussion with Chief Cardiac Surgeons from the Chicagoland area speaking about program challenges, as well as the future of cardiac surgery.
