Hemoconcentrator use survey

Follow up:  We have about 200 responses - thank you!  Statistically we would like to have 350 or more responses. Please take time to complete the survey - average time spent responding is about 3 minutes.

Some early learning: 40% of respondents report they have a written procedure for HC use, Reporting on more than 53,000 adult cases, the use of HC is about 55%, Reporting on more than 6,500 pediatric cases, the use of HC is about 95%..

Please respond to the survey if you have not yet.  We appreciate your support.

Original message:

We have generated a survey to quantify the use of hemoconcentrators during adult and pediatric CPB. We are collecting the information to share at future perfusion conferences.  The survey will take about 8 minutes to complete and the information generated should be useful to perfusion teams and manufacturers.  The survey audience is individual CCPs and the outcome will be the total number of adult and pediatric procedures and the percent use of hemoconcentrators reported by individual perfusionists.  The survey will also identify the applications and rationale for hemoconcentrator use.

Thank you for taking your valuable time to report on your personal practice with hemoconcentrators.
