Abstract Submission Information
Thank you for your interest in submitting an abstract to be considered for AmSECT's 58th International Conference. The abstract submission window is now closed. All abstract submissions will be reviewed by the 58th International Conference Planning Committee, and submitters will be notified of their abstract status in January 2020.
Both pediatric & congenital and adult-focused abstracts are being solicited this year.
Abstracts must be less than 300 words, and should concisely state the objectives of the study. Abstracts should contain subheadings as follows: Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion. Submissions containing more than 300 words will not be considered. Abstract authors may submit their abstract for consideration as a poster, an oral presentation, or for both.
Journal Submission Requirement:
In order to be considered for an abstract presentation at the AmSECT International Conference, all submitters must provide a manuscript for the Journal of ExtraCorporeal Technology (JECT) by March 6, 2020 in addition to completing the submission form. Please go to http://www.editorialmanager.com/jectjournal to submit your manuscript. Failure to submit a manuscript in adherence to these requirements will result in the inability of all authors on the abstract to submit an abstract to the 59th International Conference. If an author group would like an exception from this requirement either due to submission of the manuscript to another journal or for another reason, the author group must provide the AmSECT Conference Planning Committee with a detailed explanation of their exception request no later than March 6, 2020.
