Committee Goals

• Body of Knowledge: To define expand, and document a body of knowledge for pediatric perfusion.

• To develop guidelines of practice and qualifications for performing pediatric perfusion.

• To encourage and promote the sharing and dissemination of knowledge and information regarding pediatric perfusion.

• To define, develop, and make available appropriate pediatric education experiences for perfusion students, practicing perfusionists and other medical professionals.

• To represent the interests of pediatric perfusion to other organizations affecting the field.

• To encourage original research into problem areas not well defined.
