Position Summary:

The Regional Director of Operations provides leadership to Area Clinical Managers and clinicians in our Perfusion Services Division in the Rocky Mountain market, covering Colorado, Utah & Wyoming. In this role you will have operational accountability for the clinical and financial management. You will ensure your teams meet or exceed clinical quality, efficiency and financial targets. You will ensure compliance with The Joint Commission standards, contractual requirements, the Company’s policies, applicable policies at the account(s), and other applicable regulatory requirements. You will build and maintain relationships with hospital administration and surgeon clients. Provides direction in managing complex customer, physician and employee relations issues. Performs clinical services on an interim basis as necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Full fiscal responsibility for region; managing budget, P&L statements, inventory and labor costs
•Managing day to day operational requirements including scheduling, credentialing of associates, meeting daily client needs and clinical quality reports
•Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal associates
•Identify growth opportunities within region and work with business development team to ensure growth targets are achieved
•Understand the dynamics of each market and competitors within the region
•Direct and lead the quality and compliance initiatives within your region, ensuring Joint Commission and company quality initiatives are followed
•Coaches, develop and supports Area Clinical Managers in their execution of leading our clinical associates and meeting clients clinical service needs
•Directs employment activities of clinical associates in the market(s) including but not limited to the following areas; hiring, performance assessments, employee relations, change management and fostering open communication through regular meetings
•Performs clinical services on an interim basis to maintain certifications and licenses as needed
Performs other duties and works on special projects as assigned

Requirements: 

•Board Certified Perfusionist with a minimum of 5 years experience
•Bachelor of Science Degree in a related field
•5 years of experience as a Clinical Leader or senior manager over multiple locations or large hospital system preferred
•Prefer experience with contract management of clinical services to hospitals and other health care systems
