Location: Indianapolis, Indiana  

Description: St. Vincent Medical Group (SVMG) is growing and looking for a board certified perfusionist with 3+ years experience to join our group of 12 full time perfusionists. The perfusionists of SVMG provide perfusion services to The Heart Center of Indiana at both the 106th & 86th street Indianapolis locations.

The qualified candidate will perform clinical cardiopulmonary bypass during a variety of cardiac surgical procedures. Procedures include, but are not limited to, CABG, Valve, Minimally Invasive Mitral and Aortic valve repair/replacement, Heart Transplant, VAD, ECMO, etc. The position is full-time, with shared rotating on-call responsibilities and shared clinical accountability.

Requirements: This position requires a bachelor's degree in a health science related field plus graduating from an accredited cardiopulmonary perfusion training program.  Position also requires board certification by the American Board of Cardiopulmonary Perfusion.

AmSECT Membership Eligibility

An Active Member shall be any perfusionist active in the practice of extracorporeal circulation technology. There are also opportunities to become a Transitional Active Member for those less than a year removed from graduation from an approved accredited training program. Other options include; an Associate Membership, International Membership, Perioperative Blood Management Clinician Membership, and Student Membership.
