Since 1960, the Inland Empire Heart & Vascular Institute has treated each patient with compassion in one of the most innovative cardiac care environments in Southern California. We perform nearly 400 open heart cases a year and nearly 100 structural heart disease cases a year which includes TAVR procedure. St. Bernardine is also affiliated with the University of California, Riverside (UCR) School of Medicine as a clinical site for their medical students.

We are seeking a full-time perfusionist to join our well-functioning, dedicated heart team. The perfusionist will conduct cardiopulmonary bypass for open-heart procedures, anticoagulation management, and autologous blood salvaging /transfusion, and quality control management. It is an all-adult cardiac program with no ECMO.
The prospective candidate would join a staff of 3 perfusionists performing approximately 400 adult hearts per year. The duty includes coverage of vascular cell savers and some TAVRs. Shared call rotation, will be on call 33% of the time.
ABCP certification is required.
5+ years of perfusion experience preferred but will consider lesser experience, too.
Can work well independently and as part of the OR team.
This position will be available starting on January 1, 2021.
