Join our 3 Perfusionist team in Visalia, CA. Kaweah Delta’s six-floor Acequia Wing, which opened its doors in 2009, is one of Kaweah Delta Medical Center’s most needed and dramatic expansions. The wing’s dedication to cardiovascular health is everywhere in its new Telemetry Department, Cardiac Surgery and Catheterization Labs, 3 new surgery suites and new Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. Additionally, the wing adds 38 post-delivery rooms for mothers and babies and increases the size of the Emergency Department, which handles 80,000+ visits per year. The expansion allows Kaweah Delta to improve trauma care services and build a helipad.
Annual caseload approximately 275-300.
Cases include all adult CABGs, Valves, some aortic dissections, cell savers and 40 TAVRs and 6 ECMOs each year.

Growing through Training and Professional Development
Applicants to our Perfusion program must have completed a two-year master’s degree, a post-bachelor two-year training program, or be board certified. We provide support for our perfusionists in preparation for the certification exams and continuing education opportunities through CEU-eligible industry events—including our own annual Mechanisms of Perfusion conference. Our experienced perfusionists enjoy training and mentoring new graduates, and we ensure that all of our clinicians remain current through regular clinical and non-clinical competency evaluations.
You must obtain ABCP certification within two years of joining SpecialtyCare.
Two years minimum of experience; five plus years of experience preferred.
Ability to work on Call; must live within 30 minutes from the hospital.
