Description: 

HaysMed is a private, not-for-profit 207 bed hospital and provides the only tertiary level services in the region. The organization's Vision Statement, developed collaboratively with local and regional physicians, hospital administrators and community board representatives, was refined to a single core purpose: "To Help People Be Healthy," and an overriding goal: "To Be the Best Tertiary Care Center in Rural America."
HaysMed is composed of eight general OR rooms, two dedicated cardiovascular rooms. One of our main goals in the operating room is to offer the best possible techniques and technologies in the field when it comes to performing procedures. HaysMed has one of the most active DaVinci Surgical Robot programs in the region. We perform 100 hearts per year including TAVR standby. Will perform occasional cell saver for vascular cases.

Requirements:

Looking for individual to bring a high level of ethical, intellectual, professional and personal values that complement the team and company vision. Focused on clinical quality and delivering the absolute best results for patients. Ability to adapt and thrive in a high stress environment. Excellent communication skills and basic computer skills are essential. Proven self-starter who works well independently and as a part of the OR team.
ABCP certification is required.
Five plus years of experience preferred but will consider new graduates.
Position involves 50% call rotation; must live within 30 minutes from the hospital.

There are also opportunities to become a Transitional Active Member for those less than a year removed from graduation from an approved accredited training program. Other options include; an Associate Membership, International Membership, Perioperative Blood Management Clinician Membership, and Student Membership.
