This position offers an opportunity for professional growth while working with adults, pediatrics, VADs, and ECMO, in a great work environment. Our surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses are cohesive and collaborative, we all strive together to provide the best patient care.

MultiCare / Pulse Heart Institute has invested a great deal of resources into our small department. We have the newest heart lung machines in the nation, and we are introducing a remote tele-health patient monitoring system for the CVICU and PICU. We are also building a High-Fidelity Perfusion Simulator Center to support our ECMO programs and enhance our Perfusion department. A perfusionist performs advanced technical work in the selection, preparation, operation, and maintenance of the heart/lung machine, other mechanical assist devices, and accessory equipment.
