Position: Perfusionist

Location: Baltimore, MD

[Base salary + Shift differentials + Call pay - and the optional ability to make additional bonuses.]

UMMC offers a post call day off, and a “free” week off every couple months.

24/7 in-house perfusion coverage ensures lower frequency of being called in compared to other university hospitals. Our unique scheduling for night coverage rotation [every couple months], also grants the ability for a week off without using any vaca/sick hours to maximize work/life balance.

When at/near full staff levels, UMMC is able to provide perfusionists with an uncommon and positive work experience. The university setting provides case variety and the ability to maintain all perfusion skills; while at the same time providing the work/life balance of a smaller hospital.

-Bachelor or Master Degree w/ certificate in Perfusion Technology; or Bachelor’s Degree from an approved perfusion training program. (Master’s Preferred)

-Eligible for or current ABCP certification.

-Current CPR certification required.
