Position: Perfusionist

Location: Paducah, KY


We are seeking a new graduate or experienced Perfusionist to join our team in Paducah, KY. We do all adult cases which consist mainly of CABGS and valves. No transplants, very few VADS and ECMO. The team consists of 4 Perfusionists. Each team member pumps about 80-85 cases a year. Our surgeons are very friendly and great to work with! This position offers an excellent work/life balance and quality of life!

Paducah offers a variety of activities. Enjoy a day at the Farmer’s Market, Performing Arts Center or festivals. Historic downtown offers many restaurants and shopping. Two large recreational lakes are only 30 minutes away to enjoy boating, skiing, fishing and hunting. Within a day’s drive to Nashville (about 2 hours) and St. Louis (about 2 ½ hours).

Requirements: ABCP Certification required. Ability to work call and live within 30 minutes from the hospital. New graduates welcome to apply.

AmSECT Membership Eligibility

An Active Member shall be any perfusionist active in the practice of extracorporeal circulation technology. There are also opportunities to become a Transitional Active Member for those less than a year removed from graduation from an approved accredited training program. Other options include; an Associate Membership, International Membership, Perioperative Blood Management Clinician Membership, and Student Membership.
