Position: Pediatric Perfusionist

The Position and Team
Specialtycare continues to grow and we'd love you to grow with us! We are looking for a pediatric perfusionist to join our team in Augusta, Georgia. This account performs 340 total open heart procedures per year, 100 of those cases are pediatrics. We do all cases except transplants. We do not do adult ECMO but approximately 4 pediatric ECMO cases per year. Our 5 perfusionist team consists of - 1 pediatric perfusionist, 1 pediatric & adult and 3 adult only perfusionists. Each perfusionist performs 80-90 cases per year.
This position will occasionally help out in our Aiken, SC account, when needed.
Augusta is the 2nd largest city in Georgia and is located on the Savannah River which borders South Carolina. Wonderful location and perfect climate, also providing a array of activities from biking, hiking, golfing to fishing and equestrian events. Augusta is ranked extremely high for their school systems and lifestyle.
ABCP certification is required.
Two years minimum of experience; five plus years of experience preferred.
Ability to work on Call; must live within 30 minutes from the hospital.
