Location: Fairfield Medical Center Lancaster, Ohio
Description: A perfusionist operates extra corporeal equipment during any medical situation where it is necessary to support or temporarily replace the patient’s circulatory or respiratory function. The perfusionist is educated to conduct extracorporeal circulation and to ensure the safe management of physiologic functions by monitoring and adjusting the necessary variables.
Performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance to the established FMC policies, procedures and guidelines.
Requirements: College level degree from accredited School of Perfusion or equivalent.
Licensure/Certification: Board Certified/Eligible, Certified clinical perfusionist (C.C.P.) preferred.
Experience: Previous experience or training in a surgical area preferred.
