Position: Staff Perfusionist
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Description: Come join the Comprehensive Care Services, Inc. team! We are looking for an experienced Staff Perfusionist with at least 3-5 years’ experience and supervisory/leadership skills. Has twenty-four (24) hour responsibility for the Perfusion Department. Ensures that the Perfusion Department meets quality standards within the resources available. Ensures that the Perfusion Department responds to Open Heart Surgery, Autotransfusion, Pump Standby and IABP according to protocols and Hospital agreement. Performs procedures relative to the physiological management of patients’ circulatory and respiratory functioning during and following cardiac surgery, under the direct supervision of the anesthesiologist and operating surgeon.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Graduate of accredited perfusion program. Evidence of commitment to continued education and self-development. Orientation to duties to be accomplished within six months. Demonstrates well-developed interpersonal skills and communication skills necessary to interact in a professional manner with nursing staff, health care team members, patient and families. Skilled Perfusionist with a minimum of 3-5 yrs. experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusionists.
