Contributing to Research and Innovation

Position and team
We are looking for a strong, experienced perfusionist to join our team in Fort Pierce, Florida! This account does around 400 cases annually for all hearts, including TAVRs. The caseload consists of CABG, Valve, and aneurysm. Cellsaver cases are rare and ECMO is a possibility with growth. All cases are adult only. There are three perfusionists that work with two surgeons.
The team is small and easy to get along with. Consider it your second family! If you’re ever needing to step out for any appointments, the team is more than willing to provide the coverage. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a family that wants to be near the beach. A-rated schools!! The Port St. Lucie area is growing and is super close by. The account is busy, but there’s an excellent work/life balance.
ABCP certification is required.
Two years minimum of experience; five plus years of experience preferred.
Ability to work on Call; must live within 30 minutes from the hospital.
